Transitions
Caring. Sharing. Healing.

Experiencing the loss of a loved one brings change into our lives on multiple levels. When we lose someone, we often become responsible for things we once were not - finances, home maintenance, and even everyday tasks such as cooking.
It is with these changes in mind that Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services has created "Transitions." These unique 5-week workshops afford the surviving spouse or the child of someone who has passed on the opportunity to come together with others, who have experienced a loss, in a small group setting.

Together, the group will garner information and practical tips on the many Transitions, which they must make as the result of their loss. Together with area experts, we'll cover topics such as emotional well-being, financial decision-making, travelling alone, home safety, and yes . . . even tips on cooking for one. Seating is limited, however, if you or someone you know would be interested in the complimentary Transitions Workshops, please call Beverly Brown, our Director of Community Care at 352-671-1926, or email at beverly.brown@hiers-baxley.net.
