Highland Memorial Park
Keeping in mind the rich history of the cemeteries of the 19th century, the architects of Highland Memorial Park preserved the historic elements of a time when cemeteries became, not only places of mourning, but also places for those wanting to experience the peacefulness and serenity of a beautiful park.
Highland Memorial Park provides families with exceptional settings for the permanent memorials of their loved ones. With over 55-acres of rolling green lawns, majestic oak trees, reflection pond, and expertly manicured gardens, Highland Memorial Park is a perfect place for families to return, year after year, in remembrance and honor.
Sometimes one family member wants to be buried and another wishes to be cremated, yet they want to be together. Because we know this to be a common wish, Highland Memorial Park makes it simple for families. We can easily arrange for burial of both your loved ones in the same plot or placement in our beautiful Heritage of Faith Mausoleum.
We would be honored to take you on a tour through the cemetery grounds, explore your perspectives, and make suggestions. Ultimately, the decision is in your hands; but our expertise can certainly guide you toward a decision you can take comfort in.

Ground Burial
Traditionally, in-ground burial has been a choice of many families. We provide families with many in-ground burial options, including large Private Family Estate lots, multiple spaces and single grave spaces. Depending on the needs of the family, there are many areas throughout the cemetery to choose from. We will also help you design a custom bronze memorial to pay tribute to your loved one.

Cremation Options
Highland Memorial Park provides a variety of choices for the placement of Cremated Human Remains. For those families who desire it, we’re also able to combine in-ground burial for both casketed and cremated remains.
Cremation niches in Glass, Mosaic, and Granite are available in our mausoleum and our outdoor cremation garden. The Celebration of Life Memorial niches allow for families to see the urn as well as special photos and mementos which have been placed in the niche. We also provide bench memorial placement of cremated remains.

Honoring Veterans
At Highland Memorial Park, we have made a special effort toward honoring Freedom's Heroes. While National Cemeteries are certainly an option, we feel it's imporant to give families the ability to be together in the same cemetery. We also find that many families prefer being able to have a service at the graveside. Most people also prefer the freedoms of selecting a space in advance and being able to design a customized memorial.

Mausoleums
Mausoleums allow for above ground entombment in either community buildings or specially designed family estate structures. At one time the advantages of mausoleum entombment were available only to royalty, the famed or the very wealthy. Well-known mausoleums include the Taj Mahal, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and Egyptian Pyramids. Mausoleum property is now affordable to most everyone.
The existing community mausoleums at Highland Memorial Park provide crypt space for single casket spaces or companion casket spaces. With beautiful architecture, enhanced by glorious stained glass windows, our community mausoleum begs to be experienced.

Private Family Mausoleums
More families are expressing interest in Private Family Estate Mausoleums. These custom-designed solid granite sructures, some containing private visitation areas with stained-glass windows, express your family's legacy in the form of a lasting tribute.
Selecting a family mausoleum is a sound and permanent investment requiring thoughtful, thorough consideration of many factors. We suggest an orderly step-by-step approach to eliminate uncertainties and assure selection of the family mausoleum that meets all of your requirements.
