It is exceeding important that when an American flag becomes worn and tattered or is in such condition that it is no longer a fitting emblem for display; it should be decommissioned with solemnity and respect. Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services and Highland Memorial Park have partnered with the Boy Scouts of America, Troop #72 to retire American flags in a dignified way.”
